Mindset Coaching
in Competition
You’ve felt the thrill of your body’s abilities.
You’ve experienced the benefits of sport and exercise.
You’ve glimpsed the possibilities that lie ahead.
But now you’ve hit a wall…
This happens to so many athletes, especially those who want to be or who are already competing at a high level. After spending months and years training, monitoring your diet, and carefully recovering, you're stronger and more skilled than ever. Yet there’s still something stopping you, something preventing you from levelling up and showing the world what you’re capable of.
The answer is mindset.
In sports, emotional regulation and mindset are often sidelined in favour of physical improvements. And I know why: when you’re there in the gym slinging tin or running around a pitch, you can feel you’re doing something, and it feels great.
Mindset is harder. But come on, I know you’re not afraid of a challenge.

Mindset + Physical Skill = Winner
You can do all the training in the world and have top-notch physical attributes, but if you can’t take control of your mind, your thoughts and your feelings, you will never reach your full sporting potential.
The truth is, there’s no room for self-doubt when you’re competing. Any flicker of fear, anger, or doubt can knock your concentration and be the difference between the podium and the floor. What you need is to harness those emotions and use them to your benefit.
That’s what I’ll help you do, and here’s how.
Take it From the World’s Strongest Woman (Twice)
No, I’m not giving myself a bullsh*t title to sound cooler - I really am that cool.
I know all about this mindset malarky, not just because I’m a trained coach and accredited hypnotherapist, but because I’ve been in your position. I started competing in 2017, and since then I’ve reached the podium in every national final I’ve competed in and I was named the World’s Strongest Woman in both 2023 and 2024.
I’m not boasting (well, maybe a little), I just want you to know that I’ve actually had the same thoughts and feelings that are stopping you. And I’ve personally experienced how much mindset matters in sports competition. I’ve used all the techniques that I’m going to share with you during our sessions.
And if my word’s not enough on its own, take it from these other kick-ass competitors:
“I think each session had different ‘aha’ moments, but for me the one that stands out was in my last session. Retelling the story of my previous competition and the anxiety and nerves I had were quickly overwritten by the memories of pride, satisfaction and excitement.” Lauren Witton, Strongwoman Competitor
Ready for this new challenge? Let’s do it.

“My mental health has improved, my perception of myself has improved and so has my performance in training.”
Sarah Phillips
